When it all first started – NT Days

Marketing NT

Those were the days when we wanted to go beyond File and Print. Smiling as I looked at how we tried to incorporate RAS, Intra-Extra-Internet, Proxy and even Y2K to put NT on the map.

So much for the poke from my “enterprise” friends when they laughed at me taking a product touted as “Next Time”, “Nice Try”, “Not There”

Good memories!

A good marketing message with local touch

Nice…and I think it resonates with the man on the street visiting the stores

Winter Wonderland in Beijing

Yes, woke up to 2-3 inches of snow this morning. I did not notice at first as it was dark when I work up at 4am. Only after the gym and during breakfast that I realized that it had been snowing rather heavily the night before. And the chaos it caused for people coming over to the conference in the morning.

Here’s a peep:

Finished up with my session at the conference and  we headed out to dinner with a bunch of our partners.

Interesting place for dinner (check out : http://www.afunti.com.cn/). How can it not be when run by James Bond :-)

Made it think about the diversity in China. I’ll need to find out more on XinJiang (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xinjiang).
and a couple of fun photos as folks unwind and let their hair down:

What do to one do with 20 hours to kill?

To blog :-).

Offline that is. This is the beauty of being able to be online (like Facebook type) and yet, able to express even when offline. Read this (and a whole pile of other newspaper) – but this one caught my attention.

‘Cause I think leaders and managers must be able to do both too. There are sometimes that we just need to roll up our sleeves and get it done – be it a work related multi-million project or as simple as getting the dirty cups washed at the pantry (that one I remember). Don’t just think and talk….sometimes, do. It also helps to lead by example and “Dimostrazione”

More to come…currently in drafts.
